Zero SR/S and SR/F bikes pack some serious punch the torque is just wild. The range is a bit of a bummer though for long rides but for around town short commutes I think it'll be good enough. Plus you can just plug them into a regular wall outlet which is super handy. Is the short range really that big of a deal for daily riding? I think they're perfect for folks who just want a quick and fun ride around the city.

Zero’s torque is insane for city riding, but yeah, range is still the trade-off. If you’re using it strictly for short commutes, it’s probably not a big deal, but for anyone looking at longer weekend rides, it could be limiting. Charging from a wall outlet is convenient, but it’s not exactly fast if you need a quick top-up. Still, for zipping around town, it’s hard to beat the instant power and smooth ride.
