I had an older Zero SR, so here’s the good and bad. Cons: Range is unpredictable, charging takes forever, and it lacks character. Low-speed control feels weird, and top speed isn’t great. Pros: Super easy to ride, just twist and go! If you can charge at work, it’s basically free energy. Even at home, charging costs are minimal. What kind of riding are you planning to do?

You've seen the ups and downs of electric motorcycles firsthand. those bikes definitely had inconsistent range and lengthy charging. The odd low speed handling and limited top speed are valid points. To figure out if it;s the right bike for you it all comes down to how you plan to ride it. Are you thinking about daily city commutes fun weekend rides, or something else? Knowing your riding needs will help decide if it's a good fit.

Yup, it all depends on the riding style. For city commuting, it's great. But for long highway trips, charging and range can be frustrating.
