So the Zero SR/F has been praised as a perfect electric commuter bike offering impressive torque and a smooth silent ride. It’s an EV motorcycle that actually feels fast with an instant surge of power that makes stop-and-go traffic a breeze. But the biggest limitation? Range at highway speeds is around 60 miles. For city commutes, that’s fine, but for those who like to ride longer distances, it could be a dealbreaker.

Is the thrill of instant torque and smooth EV power worth the trade-off in range, or does Zero need to push battery tech further before more riders make the switch?

They're cool but expensive. The SR/S that I rode had ridiculous torque, only matched by the Triumph Rocket 3 in terms of feel. But $20k for a bike with a highway range of 60-70 miles? I don't know
